The journey of CELKARE started in way back in 1999 when the brand name of- CELTINE was registered with the office of Trade mark office under government of India. Immediately after getting trade mark approval CELTINE was launched in India. CELTINE is a premium nutritional drink for good health. Top consultants / doctors and particularly gynecologists/ paediatricians of India appreciated the quality of CELTINE and soon CELTINE became a respected brand in many States like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttaranchal etc. Supporting research and continued medical education for medical profession is very important in CELKARE and hence support to medical faculty activities like ISOPARB CON 2005 was extended during their seminars.
Medical fraternity in general and gynaecology/ orthopaedics/ internal medicines in particular prescribed our products and brands like Celto calcium, Pentocel, Celtogyl, Celkof/ Celtouch etc. became favorites brands for doctors. In the year of 2004- 2005 all brands were recognized by respected market drug index like DRUG TODAY etc.
Because of domestic problems business operations in India were halted in 2006. However CELTINE got a new life in 2016 when operations started in Ethiopia and Mr. Waktole started importing CELTINE from India. Because of quality/ efficacy/ patient acceptability and compliance CELTINE became a big success in Ethiopia and within 2 years business of around 20 million rupees was done by local importing company owned by Mr. Waktole.
